This is the welcome we got when we reached the Tarangire national park Tanzania.The most common animals found in this park are the Abyssinian black and white colobus monkeys, the Vervet monkeys plus big five. The largest of the five countries, Tanzania, is richest in primate species (27) and subspecies (28). Things to do and dont to monkeys *Do not irritate or tease the monkeys. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone. Be light footed while passing through a monkey group i.e. Do not run. *Staring at monkeys (and apes as well) is taken as a sign of aggressive intent. Monkeys will reach behind them for the nearest throwaway substance and you won't like it when they pelt you with it.
